I had done so well for the month. Then MEXICAN FOOD happened!...here is the sad story of my binge:



Hubby is on his way out of town tomorrow
headed for SD Phesant Hunting. He decided to surprise daughter and I with our fav mexican food tonight
we didnt even go there and eat it. He brought home the feast for 4 Steak fajitas, refried beans, rice, chips, salsa
everything that goes with this meal! I ate til I was more than full. I figure I was at least 1200 calories over my 1200 calorie goal. That means I really shouldnt eat tomrrow---LOL. I could NEVER do that though. I know my body would really be unhappy.
Tomorrow morning is the weigh in for the October Challenge
what a mess!
OK, now that I have gotten the dread out of my head and onto paper, I can forgive myself and move on. Forgot to mention after dinner I was so upset with myself I at some of our halloween candy for the little kids tomorrow night
that was the final 90 calories bringing my total over to 1200.
So glad there is a November Challenge.

I think I will readjust the goal from 4 lbs to 2 lbs. I dont want to be stressed about this
I just dont want to repeat the gain I had last year.

October 31 2007 160.4
April 2008 175.0
October 30 2008 160.0---messed up, not way it will be my same weight tomorrow.
I am soooo tired of this yo-yo!

Off to bed, tomorrow is a new day, with new calories, so glad I dont have to NOT EAT tomorrow because I ate too much today!

Getting back on track is a skill we have to learn to develop because we're all human and make mistakes. Just drink lots of water for the sodium content!

Vicki -- Mexican food, pizza, real temptations for sure. I can totally empathize with your feelings this week! Just remember that is not your habit now and do what you do so well! (maybe get rid of the candy?) You know, a yo-yo at least comes back....

Hang in there--I know how you feel! The most important part of CK, for me, is getting back into the swing of things after a binge. It's not the end of the world, and perfect isn't your goal. I know I am trying to work toward food consistency. It's a worthy goal! Go easy on yourself, and hang in there...
