A few weeks ago my blog discussed that my hubby and daughter were taking a youth Hunt Trip to south Texas. Well, this is the 10 point buck my daughter shot all by herself. She also shot 2 doe. The ranch was overrun by doe and would receive some pretty stiff fines if they did not thin out the herd. Some of the meat was donated and we have some we will cook.
This is quite an achievement for my 16 year old. I myself don't think I could do this (I do love venison chilli though), but have no issues if someone wants to feed folks with the meat they hunt.

Already got in 30 minutes on the treadmill and hope to do some wii tonight with daughter. Scale was nice this am @ 158.6. Down 1.6 from November 1st.

She looks so happy! That is such an accomplishment. I'm sure that it was a really special thing for your husband to share with her.

Hi Vickie, I haven't talked to you in a while. Your new photo up date is fantastic ! Your face has really changed. Can you move around a lot better ? Have you hit any plateaus yet ? I have been in a rut since August and can't seem to get down from 148 or get back into a real diet mode since my body seems to like this weight. I need to get to around 135 just about where you need to go. Actually CK says 128 but all my drs say that would be impossible for me to get to. Some even tell me that I should be happy where I am at now,but I have a tummy still.
I have a cousin who hunts for all his meat for the year. Can't say I like Bambi meat much. I do like Bison an Elk. I absolutely do not like Quail either. Give me Duck any day ! Seriously, I have tried them all thanks to this place in Denver that serves them all. My brother took me there and we had the sampler.

Doing great with the exercise. What a beautiful girl. I have no problem with hunters. I could not do it myself, though!
