Tuesday, Nov 18 2008 - Test...didn't eat back all my calories today
View ROCKMOM2's food & exercise for this day
Weight today: 156.8--even got to dig some of my Lee jeans size 10 long out of the back of my closet and they fit better than last time I wore them over a year ago.
Still working toward lotz of FIBER every day
I think this makes a huge difference and I am pretty sure I have enough for today. Lotz of water already today too!
OK, this may be the first time I did not eat back all of my exercise calories, but I really don't see the point when it is this late and I am on target with almost everything...no vegis though...UGH, they are so hard for me to get in each day...don't like them raw and cold, well, except salad...tomorrow I will plan for a BIG salad!
I will report tomorrow on how well it went, even though it could take a couple days to see if this not eating all my calories is a good or bad thing.
===================
Daughter had ED Therapy tonight and hubby and I learned that it may take her several months to let go of the control she has of her eating. Lotz behind this that I dont have time to go into right now, except to say
she feels so many things in her life are out of her control
when and if she eats are things she can and does control. --- We have to give her control of earning special things like having friends over on the weekend, etc. Have to be more consistent on only allowing this to happen if she meets her goals for the week
homework, loading the dishwasher, speaking with respectful words, getting up and to school without being tardy
things it can be easy to overlook when you want her to have social interaction as a 16 year old
but things that she has to learn are important. My goal--consistency.

You asked me where I lived, before. I live in Gravel Ridge, right off of Hwy 107! We used to be considered "county" but there was a vote back in the spring and now we are annexed as part of Sherwood. Which means we have MUCH better police patrol, but we also pay more taxes with city/local included
:cross3: We are planning on buying more out in the country in a couple of years though. We are in a subdivision (about 30 yrs old) because our kids were younger when we bought. Gravel Ridge is growing by leaps and bounds...it is not just a speck on the road now..lol. It's a really big dot

Just make sure you don't get bit by the hungry bug on Wednesday. So fun about the old jeans fitting! Can't wait for that, I have a mountain of clothes just waiting to be worn again! (are day glow socks still in fashion?). I'm glad you are making some strides with your daughter!
