Maybe I have been taking my own CONSISTENCY to serious…I mean it was supposed to be a good thing, not a bad thing. I have been way over on Sodium the last several days and this is really bad! I don’t believe I can drink enough water to get rid of the amount I am consuming. I do not have high blood pressure and have gotten into a semi-healthy BMI, so does it really make that much difference in my health?? --as long as I understand the scale may not go down until I get the sodium back down.

We have had the best weekend in a long time at our house. Daughter has been grounded due to failing English for the 6 weeks and talking on her cell phone past 10:30 at night for 4 nights last week. She has spent the entire weekend with us and we have soooo enjoyed her! Oh, to be without cell phones…

We have 2 days at home this week then we are off to Austin, TX for the Texas Longhorns vs the Texas Aggies. (Our son is a senior at Texas A&M…GO AGGIES!). The game is on Thanksgiving Day at 7:00 p.m. We will be eating out from Wed p.m. until we get home on Sat. p.m. I have CK on my palm phone so will plan to log via phone. As for exercise, I will try to use the gym at the hotel…always fun to try new things at a gym since I usually only use my treadmill or walk/jog outside.

Looking forward to a peaceful week with my hubby, son and daughter. May be one of the last ones that it is just the 4 of us. When he graduates in May he may have plans that include his girlfriend of 3 years.

I am living each day. Tomorrow will take care of itself and today is very special. I am very thankful for everything I am blessed to enjoy in my life…but especially my wonderful family!

Blessings to you all as well!

I agree with the poster above me... STOP being so hard on yourself!! I have to go into this week with the attitude that if I am successful at NOT gaining, then I am successful! If I 'fail'...I am still successful because I at least thought about it! I refuse to not have a good time and enjoy this holiday! There are 365 days in a year....even if we overindulge in a couple now and and Christmas,,even New years...look how many we will not be over indulging!! Sodium...there is no way I could ever keep mine down below 2400! Even when I am not eating processed lunchs of lean cuisines and canned soup! When I do eat those it is out the roof! But for me, it hasn't made a huge difference in the scales  . I dunno why. I have cut back. I used to salt food after it was on my plate. Now I use Nu Salt...sadly my high sodium numbers do not even reflect the 'after' salt I used to use :afraid4: . Girl you are doing really well and you need to relax and not worry so much about 1 day here and there. Just don't run today(and upset your fuller tummy) and the treadmill won't care if you ate pudding or not :laugh5:

I just read your post in the November challenge thread and wanted to say this to you......you are being waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay tooooooooooo hard on yourself! Two 60 calorie puddings? ---you should be applauding yourself on your good choice, and you will need that on the treadmill! :y: You're doing just great, Vicki!

Vicki, I hope you have a wonderful trip and enjoy that game - and your family - as I know you will. Don't worry about the sodium. Sometimes our bodies need time to readjust to our fat loss. You've been doing just awesome, and it sounds like you have a great plan!

You have and ARE doing AWESOME and the road you have chosen will lead you to your goals and successes... you are well on your way and have accomplished so much.... GREAT news about your daughter... sounds like Thanksgiving will be so Special.... Enjoy every moment... This past weekend I had to do the hotel treadmill thing and it actually worked great..... I just got up a little before everyone else had my clothes already in the bathroom, slipped them on and was out the door..... worked really well.... you will do GREAT.... look forward to hearing from you about your trip.

Vicki - sounds like you have a plan for the holiday, and with the holidays here, consistency may not be a bad thing. I'm glad you had a good weekend with your family - it's def one of my favorite things to do too. Thank you for all your comments, as they keep me positive and focused! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and a safe trip!!

Vicki,

You are just unbelievably sweet. I am passionate and I would love to travel the country...problem is...who is going to pay me to do that? lol For now, we're just going to stick with this together. You are still DOWN for the month at holiday time and I think you're progress is amazing. Your commitment keeps me going as well and I don't think I could do it without people like you! I want you to enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday and do the best you can. And if your sodium is up...well...no problem because we'll all be working together to get back on track, if we need to after the holidays. Enjoys that Texas game!! I'll be expecting to hear from you from your Palm to hear how it's going!! You are lucky to have such a wonderful family and I wish you all good blessings.
