View ROCKMOM2's food & exercise for this day

I just stopped in for a minutes to say we are really having a rough time and if any of you know of anyone or have ever had to send a child to a "wilderness camp" or someplace to get an attitude adjustment, your thoughts would be appreciated.

As we look toward this holiday season and all the blessings we have, we are struggling with a very unstable home situation and need to make some drastic changes.

I have found seveal options online...all of which are VERY expensive. But, don't you do anything for your child!!!---it is only money!

heartlifeministries.com
redcliff acent program
second nature wilderness program

I am sure there are more...I am praying for direction as we move to make changes in our family life.

Thanks for your support!

Sorry to hear you are going through this. It must be very difficult. Hang in there! I have a few friends who went to camps like that, followed by attitude adjustment boarding schools. One of them did a wilderness in Oregon, and she thinks it did her a world of good.

Aww Vicki - I'm sorry you are having such a rough time there! I know that Knowles has wilderness training as well because my campus director has a son who is an admissions counselor for them! Hang in there, sugar....you'll get through this.

Okay QUESTION what does NOMO's mean. Every time I see it on a thread somewhere, I just don't know what it means! HELP...I just can't take it anymore!

And...:clap::clap::clap: great job on your weight loss! You are amazing!

:love::love: Fran

Heck, I'd go to camp and leave the kid at home. Sorry...that wasn't very helpful. I hope you can get on the right track together. Sounds like a very stressful situation.
