Thursday, Dec 18 2008 - Better day, started with quiet time and running...
View ROCKMOM2's food & exercise for this day
This morning was an accomplishment
I was running in the rain, put on a ball cap and took off. Did 3 miles in 38 minutes. Not fast, but my fastest yet. I am not very good at doing the C25K by the rules of the minutes. I increase the running time a little more than they have on week 4 I think. I am running and enjoying it and see no real benefit in stopping just because the piece of paper says I should. If something go sore, I my knees hurt, I would stop and I only did an extra, what, 8 minutes
.no biggie. I understand what you said about exhilarating
When I stepped in a puddle it was really neat
and the air smelled so fresh
stuff I dont usually take the time to notice
I notice when I am running.

I AM so proud of the way that you are taking to running. I think that you just gave me the kick in the rear I need to get down to the gym.

Vicki,
 I think 3 mile in 38 minutes is great. Keep up the good work.
You have totally embraced the running and are doing a great job. You are my running shero!
I've got to get back on track with it. Still on the TM but only 2x a week. So now that you've run outside and TM do you have a preference?
Take care.

:y: You're making me want to try running. It would be kind of hard in - I don't know - 12 " of snow right now!!!

Wow! Three miles in 38 minutes. (That's about what it takes for me to walk two miles.) I am impressed and inspired. So, I assume the C25K is a special activity plan? Glad some things are checked off your list of anxiety items . . . and you are getting away for the holidays. Have a great weekend!
