View ROCKMOM2's food & exercise for this day
How easy it is to forget that we ate something when we eat it on the run...
Yesterday I was trying to eat when I "felt" hungry...didn't plan for it though so stopped at Taco Bueno and got black beans/chips/salsa...not too bad, but I FORGOT TO LOG IT!
Then, last night when I had calories left...I thought, I ate sugar full bars (fiber too/but still)...to get to my calories, even with using all my exercise calories from yesterday I was still over by nearly more than 500 calories...bad choices.
OK, moving on. This is truly a daily battle.
Gotta run...for real, I am off to do my run today!
2:30 pm update (after my run)=========================
After looking at the totals from my Garmin on pace from February, I really feel GREAT about how far I have come. I have improved my pace by more than 3 min.--I must be way more of a perfectionist than I ever thought (only about some things--my house can stay cluttered for days on end LOL)!
After seeing Sunny's photos on her blog today, I decided to find a local park to run in. It was GREAT. The trees are budding...I wish I had taken a pic so I could post it. It was a little like running in the woods but you wouldn't get lost. Didn't know the trail so turned around 1/2 through my run. Next time I want to go further and plan to walk back if I don't feel like running.
I am going to make the BEST of today! I hope you all do too!
10:45 pm update (good day-after walk with hubby)===========
Well, I liked the jogging path so much, hubby and I went back and walks and did some "quick run" bursts...only about 3 or 4, but I got my speed higher than I ever have...up to 7.8 for a very short burst...FUN! Todays total mileage 6.15...I LOVE days like this!

Good job on the running! There is a theory that your - and my - house stays cluttered because of perfectionism. No time to do it perfect, and so not doing it at all.

WOW! You are doing SO amazing with your running! And it is truly so cool that you and hubby can do it together! That's one thing I'm bummed about with moving and having no one to watch the kids. Chuck and I can't workout together at all anymore, not even a walk. Boo!!!
:n: You are SUCH a runner, girl!!! Way to shred that time from February! I know you will continue to do so with all of those miles you are wracking up, and with the rockin speed bursts!!!

Isn't that just the worst feeling, thinking you have done well, and then remembering...oops! You are doing great with the running, a tad addicting, the feeling, isn't it?
