OK, today was a GREAT run day! The instructions from my running group were a little complicated and involved certain ways of breathing. I didn’t understand it so just decided to do the 10 min easy jog/ 15 min jog / 10 min easy jog…It was AMAZING.

Here is how it broke out:

10 min - .79 miles/ avg pace 12:39
15 min - 1.36 miles / avg pace 11:02 ( I am SOOO excited…I WILL get to 10:00 min miles!!!)
10 min - .77 miles / avg 12:55

Then I walked for the remainder of 5 miles:

30:45 min - 2.08 miles / avg pace 14:46

I DID NOT STOP RUNNING FOR 35 MINUTES! And 15 minutes were at one of my best times EVER! This is so fun.

On a side note…I was having an absolutely HORRIBLE DAY before I went to run, when I finished I didn’t even see a reason to be upset about anything. I guess that is the runner’s HIGH?

Vicki, I am so proud of you. I remember when we started running. You are a pro. I completed my first 5k in the rain last month. It was a fantastic experience and I felt so wonderful at mile 2. It may have been the endorphins and the wonder of God to give me the ability. Either way, I'm still training for the sprint tri. You are such a motivation to me. Keep up the good work.

I will look that book up on Amazon today and order it! I love books like that :) . Are you still going to make it in for Easter? As far as I know we are going to be in town. So far we have only went to TX for Christmas holiday..lol. If anything, we may be out in the camper, but it keeps raining to much to get it "up and running" yet. I would love to meet up that weekend and go for a "run" if you think you can slow your bad self down long enough to hang with me :laugh5: . Of course, we can always do something else too if you would rather!
