AMAZING EASTER WEEKEND!

YEAH! I got the photo to download...

Julie (JTAPP9) and I got to run together on Saturday morning 4/11. I had a really good time! Julie is much faster than she lets on! I was glad when we slowed down and walked during our run together! The bridge behind is us called the Big Dam Bridge and is the longest, or at least one of the longest bridges you can walk or bike across in the US...I think. There is a beautiful trail at the end of the bridge that loops the city. I think it is ...

COMPLETED 4TH 5k in record time for ME!

Finished 4th 5K on Saturday! It was AMAZING. I actually was able to run the entire 3.1 miles and did it in my best 5K time ever…here are the stats:

Place in 45-49 F Age Group: 20 out of 56
(832 Finishers - 360 Male/472 Female--Sex Place 179)
Bib #2060
Age: 48
Overall Place: 439 our of 832
Chip time: 33:57.9
Pace: 10:55/M

I FEEL LIKE A RUNNER!

OK, today was a GREAT run day! The instructions from my running group were a little complicated and involved certain ways of breathing. I didn’t understand it so just decided to do the 10 min easy jog/ 15 min jog / 10 min easy jog…It was AMAZING.

Here is how it broke out:

10 min - .79 miles/ avg pace 12:39
15 min - 1.36 miles / avg pace 11:02 ( I am SOOO excited…I WILL get to 10:00 min miles!!!)
10 min - .77 miles / avg 12:55
