How funny, I didn't realize I had posted such a similar blog back in February. See how well that stuck. At least my marriage is still hanging in there.
So, here I go again. Trying to start all over. Can most of us count how many times we have tried to lose weight? I lost 18 pounds 5 years ago. Then I put 26 back on. 178 - size 14/16 at the Loft (so really size 16-20). Glad to still be in a regular store, but I know that is just because they keep making their sizes bigger. 43 lbs to lose. Never been this heavy or in this size ever before. Sound familiar?
So, on day 1, I exercised and logged my food. Of course I went over by 132 calories, and I had too many carbs. I like how it tracks all of the nutrients. I will have to consider how to add protein and take away carbs while still watching my cholesterol. Hmmm...
Well it is a start. Going to bring my lunch to work again. Add some nuts. May stop at the store on my way to work to pick up yogurt for breakfast - add it to my high fiber cereal for more protein.
I am optimistic because my friends are losing weight this way. Maybe if I post to the blog, I will feel more obligated to continue??? Anything is worth a try.
