If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. I think this statement (author unknown) is pretty powerful and has been a huge help for me. The more I am using
CalorieKing.com I find that not only is it helpful for tracking what I eat and how much I exercise, but it allows me to plan what I eat and allows me to determine how much I should exercise. More often than not, I find myself entering my breakfast and lunch the night before. Breakfast and lunch seem to be the most predictable meals for me (I'm not always sure what the wife is making for dinner :-)).
On a personal note, I hurt my foot late last week at the gym and it has been a stumbling block for me this week in regards to exercise. I am able to walk on it today and hopefully by tomorrow, I'll be able to get back to my normal treadmill activity. If anyone has any suggestions regarding good workouts that aren't too stressful on the ankles, feel free to post a comment.
In the meantime, I'm staying positive and hoping to at least maintain my current weight this week.

Well said! Good luck with your foot. If you belong to a gym you might try a swim or the elliptical?
