I am one pound lighter this week. Small victories! Even with the onslaught of desserts at Thanksgiving I was able to shed another pound this week. I think I owe it to the "incidental" exercise over the weekend. I wound up raking leaves on Sunday afternoon for about 2 and half hours. I highly dislike

raking leaves, but any exercise I can get is worth it. I Google'd the exercise and raking leaves appears to burn about 300 calories for every hour that you do it. My front yard is fairly big and if it had not been for my wife coming out to help me for the last hour, I think I would have quit and finished another day. So, I must give much

to my wife for coming out and helping, even though she likes raking leaves about as much as I do.

Incremental progress in the right direction is the goal. And I really understand the not liking to rake leaves. Judy
