I finally hit my 10 pound milestone this morning. It feels really good. The dress pants are fitting a looser too

I had to tighten the belt a little more this morning. I know there is still a lot of hard work in front of me. One small victory at a time.

I received a call from my doctor's office today about my blood work and they said every thing looked good in regards to my triglyceride levels and cholesterol. It was a voicemail message so I am waiting to hear back from them on the specific numbers.

I've seen a lot of people talking about the Couch to 5K running program, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'll start the program next Monday (12/18) and post my progress here in my blog. Thanks to all those who have been posting helpful info (about the couch to 5K) on their blogs. Every October, my company sponsors a 5K run to benefit a local food bank, so I am hoping to participate (and finish well

) and raise money for the charity.
Miscellaneous Ramblings
The Biggest Loser Finale was awesome last night. What a roller coaster of emotions! When I saw Erik, I was like

. What a huge difference in all of the contestants. Poppi was representing for NJ last night and won $50K for being the biggest loser out of those not initially chosen to be on the ranch. I think Brian had the most dramatic change. I hardly recognized him when he came out on stage. Jen, Big Ken, Marti and Jaron all looked great as well.

Congrats on the first 10. Now go and pick up a 10# bag of dog food or something and carry it around for a while. You'll be amazed at how heavy that can be. And now...you aren't carrying it around any more
:) Good for you!!!

C25K is awesome. Feel free to join the forum and talk about your success. You will be doing 5K races in no time. Feel free to ask me any questions as I am a C25K graduate.

Great job on your first 10 pounds! And good for you starting the C25k program, make sure you have a good pair of running shoes! It's a great program and you will be surprised at what your body will be able to do.
:) Poppi did look great, I thought Bobby really looked a lot different too. I didn't recognize him because his hair was grown out a bit and he'd shaved off the goatee. It was a great show, I'm sad it is over now!
