Couch to 5k, Week 3 Day 2
I will be doing C25K W3D2 tomorrow morning at the gym.

Health Status
Well, the short and sweet version is that I ate way too much over the Holiday break and did not get enough exercise, so we'll see what Thursdays weigh-in reveals.

Miscellaneous Ramblings
I was really proud of my son the Saturday before Christmas. My son plays indoor soccer down in Franklinville and in his game he scored two goals. That's unusual because he is a defensive player, but in Saturday's game he was really aggressive and was able to score two goals. He has three career goals in indoor soccer and zero goals in outdoor soccer (again he is a defensive player, so goals are rare for that position).

Christmas was really nice. We spent a few days down at the Jersey shore with my parents and some of my wife's family. Here are some items from my list of gifts that I received:
* Eagles Jersey (Brian Westbrook #36)
* My wife made me this awesome collage of pictures of our kids.
* Kitchen Scale - Really high tech :) I haven't had a chance to play around with it yet.
* Gym bag
* Pedometer

I got a lot of things that will help me continue on the journey to good health. I enjoyed our time a the shore and unfortunately I cam e back into work today. It was a ghost town around here today. I'll probably come back in tomorrow as well and then take Friday off. We get Monday off for New Year's so I'll have a nice 4 day weekend to get stuff done around the house. I have plenty of things to put together :cry3:. My parents bought us a wooden filing cabinet and our kids got an organizational unit that I'll need to assemble. It's all good! :thumbu2:

Habit Tracking - I did have a little Green Tea on one day over the Holidays, but other than that these items pretty much got ignored.
:( 8x8 Water - 0/7 days
:( Green Tea - 0/7 days
:( Fiber over 25g - 0/7 days

Random Fact Sheet
-- I had a beagle named Freckles when I was younger. After Freckles passed away we had Australian Sheperds named Lacey and Denis. Never had a big red dog named Clifford though :)
-- My Mom was raised in Kentucky. I love the South (even though I'm a Yankee :laugh5:). We had biscuits and gravy for Christmas morning breakfast. :thumbu2:
-- My Dad was raised in Wildwood, New Jersey. He met my Mom down in Kentucky where they both were going to college (Murray State).

My son played defense too and I can't remember him ever scoring a goal. I have enjoyed his games from when he was four until November of this year (he is now 20). I hope that he can play next season! I am a southern girl. I have always lived in North Carolina and I love it! I don't fry everything, though. I am a healthy cooking southern girl!
