The two lovely ladies in my life ... my daughter Kayla and my wife Dawn. This was taken at my sister's wedding in ... uh oh ... brain fart ... I think it was in mid-September 2006 ... sorry sis

Health Status
Short and sweet ... I'm feelin' good! I did break down and have Chick-fil-a waffle fries today for lunch. I know, I know

. Does the fact that I got a grilled chicken sandwich with no mayo cancel out the fries?

I try to limit fried foods to once a week. I know I should eliminate them all together. I'm workin' on it. Other than that I've eatin' pretty well today.
Couch to 5k, Week 3 Day 3
I just got back from the gym about an hour ago and I finished up Week 3 of the C25K program. My runs felt really good although I don't think I can keep up my running pace (~5.5) once the jogging intervals get longer, but I'll see how I feel as I go along. I suspect that the further I get in the program the closer I will come to my avg. speed (~4.5-4.6). Any of your thoughts would be helpful.
Week 3 Stats:
Day 1 ~ 40 min. total, 2.90 miles, 468 calories, avg. pace: 13:48 min/mile, avg. speed: 4.35 miles/hr
Day 2 ~ 40 min. total, 3.00 miles, 491 calories, avg. pace: 13:20 min/mile, avg. speed: 4.50 miles/hr
Day 3 ~ 40 min. total, 3.05 miles, 509 calories, avg. pace: 13:07 min/mile, avg. speed: 4.58 miles/hr
Miscellaneous Ramblings
I decided that I'm not so good at coming up with daily blog titles so I thought I would make it something that has nothing to do with what I am writing

.
Not a whole lot to ramble about at this point. My son has an indoor soccer game on Saturday, but other than we're hangin out around the house this weekend. I have a leaky kitchen sink that I am hoping I have time to fix. It's something I've been putting off for a while now.

That is a great pic of your daughter and wife. They're very pretty! WTG getting the c25k complete for week 3! I'm finding that I'm picking up my running pace as the time progresses, but I'm only on week 2, so I could change my story next week!
:) Hope you have a great day today!

Great picture of your wife and daughter. You are doing great. And i gave up on titles. Just the boring day but I like the random that has no relevance. Fun, fun.

What a lucky man having such lovely ladies around the house. ... I love your title concept. I, personally, am saying Fight the Power and refusing to title my entries. ... And life without fries is misery. Enjoying a small order with a grilled chicken sandwich is OK in my book.

Pretty ladies! I don't do titles so it's easy not to have to come up with one. Thank you for the prayers!

Thanks for the comment. the book I am reading right now is actually by Thich Nhat Hanh and it'a called in the heat of the Buddha's teaching. It's really good and I really enjoy the way he writes.

Neat picture! Your *girls* are very pretty!
:) I had to cut back my speed when I moved up to I think 8 minutes (or maybe it was 20, I'm not positive). I was running at 5.2 to 5.5 in the early weeks and then cut back to 4.5 or so once the time increased. By the time I finished I think I was going at around 4.3, I'm working now on building my endurance so I can run faster, longer.
:) Right now I'm doing 1.5 to 2 miles at a pace of around 4.6 to 4.7, not fast but at least I dont tire quickly!
