Health Status :y:
My official weigh-in was this morning and I lost 2 more pounds. I am down to 240 now. I really feel a difference in my clothes and the way they fit. I definitely feel more energized most days. I seem to be able to get away with one or two days where I go over my calorie target (reasonable, not a splurge), which gives me a little sense of freedom.

Couch to 5k, Week 4 Day 2 :y:
I did Week 4 Day 2 today. I skipped out on doing it yesterday because my ankle was bothering me a little. It felt better today, so I went over to the gym on my lunch break and got-r-done :thumbu2:. I felt like I pushed myself a little too hard today. My heart rate was too high towards the end. I think I'll slow it down a little for W4D3 and try to keep my heart rate a little lower.

Week 4 Stats:
Day 1 ~ 35 min. total, 2.69 miles, 462 calories, avg. pace: 13:01 min/mile, avg. speed: 4.61 miles/hr
Day 2 ~ 40 min. total, 3.08 miles, 530 calories, avg. pace: 13:00 min/mile, avg. speed: 4.62 miles/hr
Day 3 ~

Miscellaneous Ramblings
Where I've Been
It's been almost a week since my last post ... I think. The CK police tracked me down this morning (Thanks Dan! :)).

One of my goals for this year is to volunteer more of my time to help others. One of the reasons I haven't posted in a few days is because I've been a little busy trying to help a local Christian Academy start up an indoor soccer program for their students. I think indoor soccer is a fascinating sport and it's really exciting to watch. Anyway, I've been putting in some time working out the administrative details for them and while it's been a challenge, it will be rewarding to watch the kids play.

The SIMS
Mar lama lama - anyone know where that phrase comes from? It's an inside joke in our family. My daughter got a SIMS game for Christmas for her Nintendo DS and the SIMS have their own language. One of the phrases that this girl repeats is "mar lama lama." Not sure what it means, but it's fun to say :).

I'm a little brain dead from the 12 hour work day I put in yesterday so ...

Random Fact Sheet
-- My favorite restaurant to get a southern style breakfast is Cracker Barrel.
-- When I eat it, I like my bacon extra crispy.
-- I like my eggs scrambled, dry ... man I'm gettin' hungry :)

Congratulations on your 2 pound loss! :rock1: I think that it is so wonderful that you are helping with the indoor soccer program. My son played indoor soccer once. Soccer was such a good thing in his life as he was growing up. I am eating at Cracker Barrel tomorrow morning with my parents. They just love Cracker Barrel and they drive 45 minutes every Sunday morning to meet us there. Have a great Sunday!

Hey I was wondering about you but didnt know where to hunt you down so I'm glad Dan did :) Re the SIMS -- funny story -- one of my girlfriends bought that for her computer when it first came out. She is not a gamer at all and ddint know anything about it. After she installed it and played it a few times she was like, Wtf they are not speaking English. So she uninstalled it and returned it to Best Buy and told them, "Hey I think I got the Japanese version!" LMAO!!! =D I still tease her about that one!
