Health Status
Well after eating the way I did this weekend, I thought for sure that I would have gained a pound or two, but I did a pre-weigh-in this morning and came up the same as my last official weigh-in. I guess I didn't blow it that bad after all. After my bad lunch on Friday ... oh yea, btw, a panzarotti is basically a deep fried pizza pocket with cheese and sauce in the middle and the crust on the outside ... so after that I wound up eating pizza for dinner on Saturday night and then eating at the Cheesecake Factory on Sunday evening. If you haven't eaten at a Cheesecake Factory before, you have to find one and try it out. The food is excellent! I had a piece of banana cream cheesecake for dessert

yummy! Sorry for the detour ... my weight is good and I am back on track with my normal eating today. Even though it was chili out today, I was able to get a 35 minute walk in. I'll be heading over to the gym tomorrow for a run on the treadmill.
Miscellaneous Ramblings
Date Your Mate
I just wanted to ramble a bit on how important I think it is to date your spouse even after you've been married for a while. My wife and I have been married for almost 12 years. We have three children so that fact alone makes it hard to get out on a date, but we try to make it a habit to get together alone just so we can talk about things that are going on. It's hard to talk around the house and by the time the kids go to bed, we are exhausted so talk time is limited most evenings. Lately, my wife has been coming up to my work for lunch on Mondays, so we get a chance to discuss things that the kids are involved in, financial matters, upcoming events, etc. I find that this time alone with my wife keeps us in touch and on the same page. The last thing I want is for my kids to grow up and leave the house and I am trying to figure out who the lady in the house is

. So, if you're married, don't forget to date your mate.

Random Fact Sheet
-- I am pulling for the Colts in the Super Bowl. What a come-from-behind win last night!

-- iTunes - I am currently listening to Dharma Moon - At Ease 2. Great relaxation music! It helps to relieve stress at work

-- I should preface this comment by saying that I used to be a part time Youth Pastor while I was going to college. I once challenged my youth group to get 15 youths to attend an event and if successful, they could shave my head totally bald. They did it and I have the pictures to prove it. I'll have to dig them out and post them one day.

Panzarotti sounds like a calzone? Are they the same? I like your "Date Your Mate" advice -- that is good for me as I will be getting married in June.
