I am making real progress here. I have decided to change training for the Broad Street run to finish in 85 minutes or better. This comes out to be a 8:30 min/mile pace. Being I still have over 4 months to train for this pace, I should be able to accomplish it.

That definitely is plenty of time to get the pace you want - congrats, you're almost there! I can't run at 8.0mph for my HIIT yet, I keep getting cramps. One day I will run as fast as you, even if just for a minute
