8:50 AM - 64 mins. of Running Outside - (10K)6.2 miles (136 AVG -145 MAX HR) 452Kcal
9:55 AM - 5 min. Walk - cool down from the run.
My first outside run of the 2010 season & it felt great. I was planning on running 8 miles but my calf started to tighten up & I did not want history to repeat itself with an injury early on. So I cut my run short & finished at 6.2 miles & walked for 5 min.s (approx 1/3 mile). I used my Garmin 305 today & the calorie burn was at 695 total which is an 11 calorie per minute burn. Even-though I wish it were the case, I believe that calorie burn is to high. When I use my Polar F4, and run that pace I burn around 7 calories/minute. So I am going to be on the conservative side and go with a total burn of 452 calories for this workout. Next week I will run this course with the Polar F4 and see what the actual burn is.
4:05 PM - 30 mins. of Biking Outside - 5.8 miles (116AVG - 131 MAX HR) 167 Kcals.
Felt great to get out and bike. It was a little breezy & windy, but it still felt good to be outdoors. Spring is on its way now!!!
8:10 PM - 58 mins. of P90X (Day 7 of 90) X-Stretch (72 AVG - 93 MAX HR) 90 Kcals.
A much needed session...AH just stretching..........

My garmin bike computer is notoriously high on cals, usually my Suunto is about 75% of the bike.
Being outside is the Cats Meow for sure.
