WORKOUT
5:05 AM - 60 mins.of Step Mill - 5.36 miles (140 AVG - 150 MAX HR) 458 Kcals.
Breakdown:
Level 4 - 4 mins. with 20 reps each of the following: overhead press, butterfly press, upright rows, overhead tricep ext., tricep pushbacks, bicep curls.
then Level 7 - 2 mins. with alternating step leg kickbacks X 10 sets.
*I was really feeling the intensity with the added 1lb weights by the 6th set. I had to keep saying to myself "OK, just see if you can do one more set & if it gets to hard after that set you can put down the weights. Well as I progressed through each set, I kept thinking I can't stop now I am getting closer to finishing the 60 mins. as planned.
6:25 AM - 40 mins. of Swimming Laps ~ .9 mile ( 114 AVG - 128 MAX HR) 184 Kcals.
62 LAPS TOTAL: 12 laps with kickboard, 24 laps freestyle, 24 laps with padddles & flippers, 2 laps w/kickboard.
1:20 PM - 60 mins. of Walking Outside - 3.5 miles (92 AVG - 101 MAX HR) 186 Kcals.
8:35 PM - 58 mins.of P90X(Day 53 of 90) Stretch X(74 AVG - 93 MAX HR) 94 Kcals.

Rick - I only keep the intensity level @ 4 when I am using the hand weights. It is a really good workout & it really gets my heart-rate up when I add the weights. There are some support poles behind the StepMill, so that would not be a pretty sight if I did fall off.
I really like the P90X program. I am already thinking of doing another round when I finish this one. The intensity is there, but not in a get your HR jumping kind-a-way. More like slow controlled muscle building kind-a way.

Becareful you don't fall off that stepmill. what do you think of the p90x. Is it intense enough or a more mild wo?
