Was planning on doing a 6 mile run but needed to stop early because I was feeling weak. Needed to go home and fuel my body. I should have known better, I had already burned nearly 600 calories prior to starting this run & I know that I need to fuel my body properly if I want to perform well in my workouts. I decide on a hearty spinach salad with tons of veggies & fruits and topped it off with a a bowl of minestrone soup. Yummy.

Yea Rick, I am usually good at timing my food intake to match my workouts. I think I should have eaten lunch first and did the run an hour or so later. Only when I run really fast, 8:30min/mile pace or faster can I get my heart hate up in the 140's but right now it is somewhat anaerobic for me and I currently cannot sustain that pace for more than 30 mins. The breathing evens out for me too, I think it is because I gradually increase my pace during the run every 2 mins. It is unbelievable a difference one year can make. I am hoping next year an 8:30 min/mile pace will be me easy running pace.

Eat Suzanne, you aren't SuperWoman. Even though I believe it at times. Your pushing hard on the running. Great ave Hr. Hows the breathing? it evens out for me on the bike and becomes normal like. Sort of scary to think that last year I was gasping for breathe at 140. Now I can do it all day.
