View SELYN3's food & exercise for this day
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
I must admit, I DID have to repent because I DID NOT want to get up this morning, but THANKS be unto God that I did.
While I was not exactly happy to see "Eli" this morning, I'm glad he and I spent the 30 minutes together. And I actually had one of the best workouts I've ever had! Next week, should God allow, I'm going to push the limits with Eli and try him to see what else he has to offer me. I'm sure it's alot and I've got to be ready for it.
I also noticed that starting my day with my protein makes me fuller and I'm not as hungry. I guess ALL those experts weren't wrong, huh?
Finally, today it's a cloudy rainy day here in Nashville. The clouds are threatening, but above it is the sun. Even though we may not see it, the sun is YET shining.
If I were taking a plane ride today, I suppose I'd be concerned about the weather because, though once the pilot takes the plane to a certain altitude, often times turbulence tries to pull the plane back down into the storm because of the barometric pressure.
That's JUST what Satan does! God will bring us above the storm in our life and His SON will shine on us. Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good [thing] will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
We feel as though we have victory and will even walk in it, but Satan is yet plotting to try to pull us back down into the storm of life!
Do we stop flying? Well I don't. When I bought the ticket, I had enough confidence that the airline would hire a competent pilot, FULLY capable of handing ALL conditions that may arise with that plane.
So is my life with God! Isaiah 44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I [am] the LORD that maketh all [things]; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; That in and of itself makes me WANT to trust Him! I mean, if I have confidence in a pilot with tons of metal and my life in his or her hands briefly, SURELY I'll trust my creator - God almighty!
And I do trust God. With my life and my well being. And because I know HE'S there, I know I'll be able to make better choices today. Not just food choices, but overall choices and I pray you're able to do the same...
