Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh [them] shall have mercy.
And God has truly had mercy on me! Today is my weigh in day and I feel SO blessed! Though I gained, I'm STILL not in the 180's and I yet consider that a victory!
Cheating on my "diet" isn't necessarily a sin, but it STILL isn't right. I dare not cover it, but I confess and must forsake it. In the end, cheaters NEVER win. And the ONLY person they end up hurting is themselves.
That means that I'll NEVER get to the weight I want and need to be in order to be happy and healthy.
So, though today is a new day, I shall again confess that I didn't exercise or eat right. And I'll forsake those habits and embrace new ones so that I may continue to "lay aside EVERY weight!"
