Can God TRULY call me a friend? I know He's there for me, but am I there when HE calls? This has truly challenged me and I want to be found faithful to God.

I was earlier today because, though I didn't sleep through the night, I yet asked God to awaken me during the 4 a.m. hour so I could work out. He did just that, but I STILL did not want to get up! But get up I did. I guess I have some nerve huh? I pray to God and He answers, but I don't want to keep my end. Isn't a hott mess?!

Then, I was reminded of that scripture... There are thousands, if not MILLIONS of people calling on God. And they need Him to heal loved ones or not let the beep of a hospital monitor mean someone's last breath. Yet He thought enough of me to awaken me at the requested time so I could work out! WOW! That's the kind of God I serve and will continue to do so.
