Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Eli took me for a ride today! WOW! I couldn't hang with him and the Upper Body 2 program, but I DID manage 10 minutes on the higher resistance.
And then I resumed 20 minutes on a lower resistance. Not TOO shabby, but not exactly PERFECT progress in the stepped up workout with Eli, but progress nonetheless.
You see, I had to PRESS my way towards the mark for the prize of a s...

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I THANK GOD for his forgiveness, for I'd be lost without it.
And today is NO different. He answered my prayer and awakened me at during the 4 o'clock hour so I could work out. And a GREAT work out I had!

For instance, He's forgiven me and blessed me to awaken EVERY morning this week thus far and work out. So I've gotten up and done so. And I NEED to make sure I watch what I eat so that I may lose MORE.

Ecclesiastes 7:8 Better [is] the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: [and] the patient in spirit [is] better than the proud in spirit.
I like being able to see results QUICKLY with my weight loss, but the truth of the matter is that I have NO right to.
I mean, seriously, I've not really worked out, but I sure do like to make it seem that way. My prayer is simply that I will be patient, say nothing about what I'm doing to lose weight and not be proud about it. I need to ta...
