the real calories of food. Yikes. 1/2 cheese sandwich 350 calories, more than a McDonald's cheeseburger. I thought if I halved it, it would be a modest portion. No wonder a whole cheese sandwich was making me heavy. The mayonnaise is almost 1/3 of the calories.
SO NO MORE MAYONNAISE... it's not worth it. Not a good choice. Look for a good mayonnaise substitute.
Occasionally I am happy to find a food is low in calories, such as mango salsa 20 cals for two tblsp. and all the vegetables of course.
So the learning goes on.
I also found out that someone who has an alcoholic drink three times a week, it apt to lose more weight. Also someone who is optimistic about their goal weight, will do better. Shoot for the moon. So I lowered my goal weight 15 pounds. Then I found Women's mag.com with 37 examples of many women who went in the low 200's to way below 140. It was a great thing to see.
