Busy days

I am painting the hallway in my building and it is catching up with me and slowly carving off the pounds. I am painting about two hours a day on the weekdays...and I am not logging that exercise. Eating back exercise is not working. I have stayed at the same weight for 5-6 weeks now.

Found this advice on one of the running forums: I should try this regarding eating back calories:

Anything less than an hour I do not take in any caloires while training. 60-90 minutes maybe 100 calories ...

My brother's an astronaut flying to the Hubble on May 12. Made the reservations at Coco Beach near Cape Canaveral.... the kids and I have been looking forward to going to the launch for many years now.

There is so much to do so I got right to it... picked the paint, called the rug company, bought the paint, took the heavy ladder over, checked out the flourescent lights. Will meet Dad at the building at 9:30am. I'll start the painting.... I realize that I have to get started and I can try t...

I was so busy as work I barely ate, then I got home and more than made up for it, going 500 cals over. ouch. So that is what happens when you lose focus. Better hit the gym tomorrow.

Gave away a candy bar this week! That should speak for itself. I lowered my calorie limit 5 cals and plan to do that at least every two weeks. My body has plateau'd and I cannot get to gym during the week... this is always my busiest time of the year. Having a job these days is a precious thing so I am giving it my all especially since I do get so much time off.... like all summer for starters. Then another 5 weeks throughout the year. That's an academic schedule and it works for me.

Here's how a HR Monitor can kick your b***

So I bought my heart rate monitor... therefore I AM going to do what it tells me. So I blindly follow the program. Today I tried the Long1 exercise routine which keeps me in a low range of my hr range for 70 minutes. If you go out of range, a second timer stops logging time! It's so mean! I ended up exercising for 76 minutes and burning 637 calories.... and mind you, I am 58 years old.

If I eat back all of those calories I will lose no weight. I heard some people mention they only eat back...
