I know I blew my weight loss for this week but between my surprize birthday party on Sunday and my surgery today, I am expecting things to not look so good on my friday weigh in so not going to let it get to me. I will get back on track next week. No way am I giving up!Sunday, April 8th 2007
Fridays are our days to go into town to do our weekly shopping but we end up getting dinner along the way. I try to have us go to a family style restaurant as much as possible so I have a better variety of foods to choose from (better choices for lower calories). Last friday we went to Pizza Hut though and I so blew it! I thought I had enough calories left but missed out on the added calories for the type of pizza my husband and daughter wanted and when I got home....ooohhh boy! Well, weigh in went as I expected as I haven't been able to go and workout because the place has been closed for maintenance. While I haven't lost any weight, I haven't gained any either. Starting on Monday I will be going to a new place to work out that has better equipment and prices, also more hours to choose from. The only real challenge will be figuring out calories burned as most of the machines don't tell, so hoping to find something online to give me some idea.Thursday, April 5th 2007
If I liten to the little voices that tell me I am not good enough or worthy enough, or that it won't make a difference even if I do lose the weight, I will self sabotage myself and not reach my goal. So I have to get past them and keep focusing on my goal even when the scale stops going down because I know this will happen and also that if I just keep going I will get passed it and continue towards my goal.Thursday, March 29th 2007
Well, tomorrow is officially 3 weeks in my program and my weigh in day. I am hoping and praying for the scale to say 260 lbs. That will be my 10 lb mark. My newest goal is set for 250 lbs by 4-20. They also ask that we set up a reward for reaching a goal (something not involving food). If I hit my goal of the 20 lb mark by or before april 20th my reward is set to get my hair done (color, highlights and style) hope I can get there and also afford to do it...
