Victory is mine! i am so proud of myself. After struggling w/ the weekend binging I did a good job this week. In spite of Bday party for my kids and the football game and the ever dangerous visit w/ family, I was able to lose a pound. I exercised on Saturday. Went w/ my cousin to his gym and worked out, even though he didn't. (he was watching his daughter's first basketball practice) I was able to go to the game and not get too crazy. Then Sunday we went out for mexican food and I was able to control myself. i got grilled veggies, chicken and shrimp. I did eat a few chips, but only w/ salsa no queso. I ate 1/2 a tortilla, a little black beans, not refried and no rice. I feel like this is a tiny step toward real life changes.
I am actually excited to take on the challenge of Thanksgiving this week. I have actually thought about and planned to some extent what I will eat and how I will exercise. This is so different from my thinking before. Exercise is becoming a part of my routine. I want to do more though. This am i was so sore from Sat and from jumping around at the OU game, I could barely walk. but, I am better now so plan trip to gym after work. I am learning to stop myself from making excuses. It is such a different experience. one day at a time.
