The results are in and folks....we have a uterus and cervix! Doctor "S" walks in and tells me...like I didn't already know this... I was like I told you that and you said I didn't and that's why you ordered the test. Ugh!!! Doctors!!!I told her the bone density test is Wednesday and she says "I'm sure you have bone loss it's just a matter of if you have osteoporosis or not" and that "I will probably need to go on medication to prevent further loss". Okay but ...

Yesterday was harder than I thought, there is still much of my moms things in the house, things I thought my sisters would have taken by now. I don't mean that in a bad way, just mom loved her knick knacks and has some decorative wall plates (she thought would be valuable) and I'm just not a knick knack person, they both are.I haven't been in the garage in probably 20 yrs. Today will be a hard and emotional day.
In about an hour I go fo the spinal x-ray and mammogram, not so hard I know...then I have to go to my Mom's house. My niece and her three kids still live there, she is having a combo birthday(s), graduation and confirmation party for the kds. The house is for sale, this will be theh last celebration in my childhood home. I haven't been at the house since February when my sisters and I went through mom's belongings that were still at the house...honestl...

Happy FRIDAY to all! As stated yesterday I scheduled all my tests; tomorrow are the spinal (Lumbar) x-ray and mammogram, Monday is the ultra sound, Wednesday is the bone density test and the following week is the consult with the Gastroenterologist to see about the colonoscopy. So its done! I feel a little relieved to have everything scheduled but Im most nervous about the spine x-ray, I do think something is wrong and Im a little worried about what it is.

I really try to be positive now but I have some lingering negative feelings I just need to express in order to move on so welcome to my pity party.
