It's 6:30am, it's actually quiet even thought I have two dogs and 3 cats in the house right now. I Can't sleep, too much on my mind so I'm doing laundry. Yesterday morning I took the Grandpuppies for a two hour and six mile walk down to the bay and back, burning 1,257 calories. The route there goes through a natural wildlife refuge so the views were serene and just what I needed to clear my head. The walk did them good as well, they've had so much extra energy, maybe anxiety or maybe they're bored but either way they have been quite spastic. They were calm all day yesterday so we took another trip to petsmart for some K9 advantage to keeps ticks...

It's 6:30am and I thought I was up early...WOW to early birds Jay and Cheryl! No grand baby today, it's his daddy's birthday today and they are celebrating with a family outing. Speaking of birthdays tomorrow is/was my Mom's birthday and lots of new things are happening tomorrow for family members that should be positive and I like to think the connection means something good is happening. It's a beautiful day outside today. We have the grand baby today, when he arrived this morning it was a little chilly so he was dressed appropriately but it warmed up quickly; he only had heavy pants and long sleeve shirts so we took him to Walmart to buy an outfit. There were no boys t-shirts to be found and I drew the line at buying girls shorts so I bought him a pair of light track pants and a t-shirt with a button up combo, just put him in the shirt.
