TICTOC's CalorieKing blog

View TICTOC's food & exercise for this day

I haven't blogged in quite sometime. Blogging so easily opens up private doors for me because I tend to write freely about my personal truimphs as well as my struggles with family and friends. You develop this web persona that is so easily misjudged. So over six months ago I vowed never to blog again about anything personal. But I must admit its hard. Blogging helps free your mind about things that are stressing you out and that in turn helps you relieve stress and tension to focus on weight loss. Hopefully this blog will be different from others since I am not going through so much drama and trials and tribulations. Things are much calmer in life right now then they were six months to a year ago.

Today my monthly friend peeked her wretched head in the door. I am still not eating properly at all although I am somehow losing weight. This has happened numerous times... I will lose weight easily in the beginning phase, usually for about the first two months just from cutting back on calories I will drop the first 10-15 pounds easily. When I am not "dieting" I can eat anywhere from 2500 - 3000 calories per day. So when I am recording food and totally conscious of what i am eating the calories I am consuming I can usually get my calories under 2000 without much problem. But the quality of the food is still horrible. Too much fat, too much carbs and not enough protein, fruits and veggies.

the protein part confuses me because usually if I do get the protein grams in the fat is extremely high (as if it isn't high enough already) but I feel so much more satisfied with it. So when I try to cut out the protein- to cut out the extra fat and calories I end up eating even worse because I feel so freaking hungry.

Fruits are okay but I literally just tend to forget to buy them when I grocery shop since I am not in a habit of eating them. And when I do buy them my family eats them so fast that I don't even get a chance to use them for my snacks. Veggies I just don't like!

So i have a long way to go... A lot of changes to make...and I already know it will be pretty hard.
