View TICTOC's food & exercise for this day

Somehow I made it through yesterday without eating the bojangles... but it wasn't through my own willpower. Me and hubby had a horrific fight and I ended up not eating anything but an orange. And then because I was so upset and crying I threw everything up. I had been feeling ill all day, bad headache and dizzy and then the argument didn't help at all. THe more I cried the more my head hurt and the sicker I felt. Around 11 it all came back up... everything I had ate that day as if it had never digested. That part was a bit weird for me.
I got on the scale this morning and I was 249.3... but I don't really want to count on that as being a true weight but my mom says I should despite everything. She told me about the raw foods diet that she is doing... I thought it was just another gimmick but she said its basically learning how to eat foods in their natural state but there are several phases to it. She said her first day was tough and she felt ill like I did too- but she said she thinks our bodies was just looking for the all the high processed fats and carbs and rejecting the fresh fruit. I told her I still had a bit of fried fish for lunch and tartar sauce and she said the amount is too small in comparison to all the fruit and good stuff I had. She told me to keep trying it for six days but to incorporate tons of fresh salads... she said I should eat about 3 salads per day with tuna or boiled chicken in it with a low-fat dressing. she said only do it for six days and she would call me with the next steps.

I am not sure if this is considered another "fad diet" but I do know a lot of people at church back home that are very slim now from being really big and my mom said they all did it and that's how she got the information. She said the first couple phases is all about getting the weight off and those that followed it until there goal weight can now pretty much eat what they want in moderation and if they go up they go back to eating the "raw foods" until they drop it back off. THey never allow themselves to gain more than 5 pounds of there goal weight.

Today ironically enough I feel fine... I haven't eaten much yet and I know how bad that is so I am about to try and get some food in me... its amazing to me how on the weekends I never think about food... especially if I have a lot to do around the house... I wish it was like that during the week.

That diet is kinda big out here in Cali, or at least up in the San Francisco area. So much so that they have several Fine Dining raw food restaurants which have been featured on the Food Network and Travel channels. I don't think it's a fad as the switch to raw foods has been going on for several years with great success, simply due to the health results, as many of the restaurants are also totally organic. Certainly worth Googling for a little more info if you think this is something you might like to do. Good luck and Props to your Church back home.
