So, what do I put in a "blog". I suppose a continuation of my story, maybe my daily struggles.

I missed my gym appointment with myself yesterday so it was really hard to get there this morning. But I did it. Getting there is 9/10ths of the challenge!

I worked the machines for 10 minutes. I can only do 12 reps at a pretty small weight on everything before my muscles give up. I guess that's better than not doing anything at all, and way better than the 5 I could do two months ago. Progress is a good thing, no matter how slow it seems to be going. When I first started at the gym I could only walk at 2.4 for about 15 minutes and am now at 3.0 for 20+. Still not as good as the skinny chick next to me running for her life for 30 minutes. I WANT TO BE THAT PERSON. And I couldn't even do two minutes on the elliptical and can now do 5. That's an improvement!

Going to the gym still sucks though! :sad3:

Hello & Welcome to CK & Blogland! The answer is: you put anything you want to in your blog -- its YOUR blog. You are absolutely right about getting to the gym! Congrats on your success so far, especially quitting smoking on your own (well, with your hubby!) whooo hooo! 12 reps on the machines is GREAT! I laughed out loud at your not being able to do 2 minutes on the elliptical. I used to be that person too!:hi:
