Monday, Jul 14 2008 - Another Week Another Pound

View TJKROWIORZ's food & exercise for this day

So I go to the nutritionist again tomorrow. I still need to lose three pounds to reach my goal of 190 when I see her. I started the weekend out great with high hopes of making them disappear and then Sunday came! We decided to go to Sam's Club and pick up the majority of groceries for the lake next week. The kids were hungry so we thought we'd grab lunch. Decided that Red Lobster would be a good choice so I could have fish, seafood, something with lower calories. Then the biscuits came. One won't hurt, and that would have been fine BUT it was the second, third and fourth that I didn't need. I ordered broccoli instead of potatos, great choice. But I should have skipped the scampi. Who knew? I should really carry a calorie book in my purse, dang it. Then the kids got chocolate chip cookie lava things. A bite won't hurt...half of it did though. Yikes! Then when we were on our way home my mom called and my brothers and their kids were coming for dinner (one lives 30 min away the other an hour and a half). So we had dinner with them. My dad grilled baby back ribs, baked beans and chips. I had small servings of everything but the damage was done at lunch. DANG DANG DANG. Today I have super human will power as I go in again tomorrow... As far as I can figure though, I have lost at least 4 pounds this month(on my scale anyway). It's only a pound a week, but that's better than nothing.

I got a lot of packing done last night for next week. We leave Friday.. YEAH! I work bingo at the Elks tonight, soccer practice Tues and Wed then Thursday the rest has to be packed. This week should fly! I am going to try to take the kids to the pool at least once with the ulterior motive of burning calories. If I had a pool in my backyard I would be soooo fit!

Four days to vacation ~ Five days to the Lake!

4lbs! AWESOME! A pound a week is really good, and you are right WAY better than nothing!--or better yet gaining.
