weigh in day

So, I weighed in a day late, but I lost 4 lbs! Yippee. I still eat terribly, but am back on track in the exercise department.

Yesterday instead of doing laps in the pool at lunch I worked the machines. Boy, I am sore today. Not too bad, but I have definately lost the stamina and strength I had in July.

All in all I am happy with this weeks results.


At it Again

So, I am slowly getting back into the groove of going to the gym. Last week I was there twice. This week I have been there twice and I plan on going at lunch to walk. My biggest challenge is finding the time to get there. I always feel rushed when I go at lunch, but most days that's about the only time I have with the kids back in school, the mornings are rushed. then after school there is football practice which means picking someone up. Game On!

GAME ON! I went to the gym today at lunch and swam laps. It was only for 15 minutes, but I got my butt out of the rut and did it. That's all I needed was to go that initial time again. I am once again psyched and ready to LOSE!

So, I have no idea what my weight is right now as I have done absolutely nothing the last month.

I made a sign for my fridge last night on neon orange card stock in giant black letters. It says NO SECONDS then NO EATING AFTER EIGHT and finally DRINK MORE WATER. My kids wanted to know who put it up. And why can't they eat after Eight? I told them it was not for them, but for me. They gave me that knowing look and shook their heads up and done while saying Oooohhhhh.

It's been awhile since I have blogged. We went on vacation to a lake in Northern MN July 19th for a week. That was fun, we caught fish (mostly jumbo perch) and the kids swam and tubed and had a ball. It was pretty relaxing. We even took the kids to the start of the Mississippi River and they walked across. That's pretty cool. I remember being there when we were kids. How many people can say they waded across the Mighty Mississippi? Well, if you live in MN a lot I suppose...
