Actually, "Came" is the better verb -
Girl Scout Cookies!!!
(please insert Psycho shower scene music here).
That's right, I planned and prayed and was doing alright, but I had forgotten about the order I placed weeks ago. And the night before my weigh-in they were delivered. It's funny when you think about it. Needless to say, my self-restraint went out the window. It was systematically dismantled by the smiling innocent faces on the boxes I bought. Even worse, I dragged my husband into my warped cookie filled world. He tried to resist, but the call of the cookie was too strong..."
EAT", whispered the Thank You's, "
TASTE", cajoled the Thin Mints, "
ENJOY" crooned the Shortbreads. Thank goodness, I was only being asked to fall of the change wagon...if it had been goverment secrets we'd all be in trouble!
My weigh in this morning did not betray my utter collapse last evening, and I stayed within my calories (LOL). I'm going to do penance exercise tonight though to assauge my guilt

I have to focus on the good though, I did lose 6#s this week and managed to get all my water in yesterday as well. I wasn't able to do my planned exercise because to the pouring rain and couldn't sub it for the pool because of my Aunt Flo. Last night would have been a great opportunity to do my Billy Blanks Tae-Bo...but you can imagine how that went.
I also want to thank God for my husband. Valentine's is tomorrow, but I got my gift early. I got an arrangement of fruit: Daisies made of pineapple, "baby's breath" made of grapes on skewers, and "shoots" made of melon.

Happy early Valentines Day, All!

I can feel your GS cookie pain. I am the Cookie mom for our troop and I was at the fire house yesterday morning (in the snow) helping to unload the truck and then sort the cookies for all the troops in our Council. About three hours later, I loaded 523 boxes of the evil things into my car and then spent another hour or so sorting our troop's order for each girl. Right now, all the cookies are in the car (in the garage) to include the ones my daughter sold. I was so sick of seeing cookie boxes last night that I did not have the energy to pull out our personal order~thank goodness!
Today it is sleeting outside so I don't feel like going into the cold garage to do any Cookie stuff right now. Maybe later this afternoon.
Your Valentine's arrangement sounds wonderful! Have a great Valentine's day, also.
