View TLO's food & exercise for this day
hi everybody, i'm tony. i'm a newbie and very excited about calorie king. i'll be 40 next month. my wife amy and i are the proud parents of a 4 year old son and a 5 month old daughter. life is good. i have been overweight my entire life. i can't remember a time when it wasn't a part of my life. the funny thing is, it never really stopped me from doing what i want to do...until i reached my mid thirties and had kids. my highest weight ever was 550 lbs. in 2001 i had gastric bypass and lost 150 and stopped. it seems i figured out how to cheat. turns out i thought the surgery(which was open and horrible, by the way) was a quick fix. wrong. over the next 6 years i gained back all but about 40 lbs. i was back at 512lbs on may 11 2007. that was the day that something snapped. i said i wasn't living like that anymore. i felt myself becoming that person we see on the news being lifted out of his house on a crane...that is if i lived that long! since may 11th i've lost 72 lbs by not eating in between meals...period, and walking as much as i can. i joined
calorieking.com mainly to log in what i eat, which i haven't been doing. i feel this is the time! i feel this is my opportunity to show my kids what a person can really do when they put their mind to something! please wish me well as i wish all of you the very best

If you're looking for motivation - we've got it in spades. I've added your blog to my favorites list... looking forward to seeing how you progress! -- welcome aboard!
