After several cyberboots from my new friends at CK, I bought a Treadmill today! it is up and running and my wife and i have committed to spend the evenings taking turns holding our 5 month old daughter while the other one walks for a while and goes absolutely nowhere! Thanks to all of you for your support and kindness. i am just simply amazed that i can type a few thoughts in this box and some very fine people are not only going to read them, but take the time to actually respond with nothing but encouragement and motivations. When I have lost all the weight i am about to lose, please believe me when i say, that when people ask me how i did it, i will tell them that i ate less, i moved more, and i had some great people walking right beside me on this really cool website.

thanks cubbies and jelly! brien, the treadmill is made by true fitness, though it's their off brand. it's still very stable. it has a heart monitor and it tallies calories burned. using it last night i noticed that it's MUCH harder than walking outside. i think it has something to do with not wanting to fall off and break my neck!

No way! Atta-boy Tony! I have to confess, I didn't think you'd get the treadmill so quickly. Does it have a heart rate monitor? If not, I strongly recommend that you get one that can tally the number of calories you burn during your walks. (I use the Polar F55 - about $160 new on ebay).
