Good news: I recorded everything I had to eat today (2 days in a row now)
Bad news: I went over my 1800 (calorie allotment - way over) - but at least I am aware of it.
Back in Alabama tonight. Looking forward to a fun birthday weekend. I turn 37. My wife and I went to dinner tonight after signing the contract for people to buy our house. Only minor suggestions from the inspection. Still waiting on the appraisal which should be around Dec. 10th or so.
I will be trying my best to eat within my 18000 calories, but my goal this week is to record everyday. In fact, I am committed to recording what I eat everyday - regardless. NO MATTER WHAT! Food has been my "drug of choice" for years. So I want to be accountable for my "drug" usage. Eating is good. Overeating is unhealthy. I want to be honest and open about my eating and hide nothing.
I ate a very early breakfast this morning and got hungry around 10. Ate 2 bean burritos from Taco Bell for lunch. Good protein & fiber with little fat. Than I bought a Butterfinger when I stopped for gas on my 2 hour drive to Alabama. Then my wife and I stopped by Krispy Kreme for coffee, and I got one Cruller. Proud I got just one - seriouslly. That was around 4:30. Then we signed the contract on our house and left the realty office around 7:00. We went to eat at a restaurant as we were both hungry. My wife ordered french onion soup and spinach queso dip with tortilla chips. I got veggie pasta with a light sauce (small amount of olive oil). I gave my garlic bread to my wife. She then ordered a piece of strawberry cake, and I ordered a piece of cheesecake. Butterfinger, KK Cruller, and Cheesecake all in one day. CRaZy. Tomorrow is a new day. In retrospect, I could have ate breakfast later, avoided the Butterfinger, and then ate dinner earlier.

Holy cow, man! You eat like ME!
:laugh5: I don't know how you passed on the garlic bread. You must have been experiencing some serious will power! I love reading blogs that are this honest ... because I can put away 3,500 calories in a single meal with no effort whatsoever. Keep plugging away ... You'll find lots of support around here!
