Saturday, Nov 17 2007 - No Groceries in the House

View TODDSTANFIELD's food & exercise for this day

Fun day today. We went to the mall to see Santa arrive. Picked up breakfast and Chick-fil-A and ate in the park. Played at the park. Then came home. We ordered pizza since there was nothing in the house we wanted to eat. Then had dinner from Arbys. I split a sandwich with my wife. Three "fast food" meals in a day. We really need to go buy groceries. I am very proud, however, that I did record everything again today. The caloric reduction will come. Right now I am very proud that I am recording EVERYTHING.

Kudos on your dedication. My recommendation is that do not out at all! Prepare your meals, take your lunch. Use Calorie King and plan your meal a day ahead and then print it and use it as a guide. If you have to make changes, write it on your print out and the adjust it later. Eating out is a guaranteed way to derail your efforts.
When you prepare your meals you are becoming incredibly conscious of everything you put in your mouth. You become unaware of what you are eating and numbs you to the desire to doo better. I eat out maybe one or twice a month and I save tons of money.
Blessings

Baby steps are just fine! Keep recording, and try to eat two meals a day that were prepared at home. It makes a HUGE difference; even the full-fat stuff you can make tends to be better for you than most restaurant meals. Good luck! :hi:
