Thursday, Feb 21 2008 - Pescetarian
View TODDSTANFIELD's food & exercise for this day
What I was trying to say in yesterday's blog entry was that I am choosing to be a "pescetarian" as much as possible. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pescetarianism
8:45 AM - I put just 1 tablespoon of creamer in my coffee instead of 2 this morning.

When I choose to cut out meat I go the pescetarian way too. A few years ago I went a year without any meat, dairy, or eggs. Unfortunately I didn't do a good job getting a balanced diet and ate too much bread, but I know better now. Funny that you should bring this up--my husband just said last night that when he's been eating meat lately he's had to block it from his mind that what he's eating is meat. The recent beef recall, similar news stories, and our pet rabbits and pet chickens probably don't help! He's not ready to be a vegetarian though--he likes to eat meat! I don't know how easy it is to find where you live but there are places that will sell free-range chicken meat and similar things. For now I think that's what we'll have to do for my husband who thinks like a vegetarian but can't seem to eat like one! ha!

Hello, logophile
;) That's a good start on changing your habits... I've only read back through two log posts so far - but I'll catch up over the weekend. I'm interested to see what your plan is.
