Birthdays

Friday, March 30th 2007

Well, today's my birthday! I'm happy to say that I'm 39. I don't know if it's just because my birthday was coming near so I paid more attention to client's birthdays this week or if everyone I know truly was born the last week of March! Thursday, March 29th 2007

Ok, I use this website all the time to help me make conversions... for example, just how many teaspoons are there in a 20 oz bottle of water? Not that I would really want that particular conversion, but you'll for sure want to mark this site http://recipes.chef2chef.net/conversion/

1/2 cu 1% fat cottage cheese or fat free cottage cheese
1/2 cu Kashi Vive cereal or Fiber One cereal

Place peaches in 12 oz cup; top with layers of cottage cheese and cereal. Makes one serving....

Increase your fiber SLOWLY

Wednesday, March 21st 2007

Ok, yesterday I talked about getting my fiber up to 35 grams per day. I sorely neglected to mention the fact that I should really do this slowly. I'll compare it to not exercising at all and then deciding that today I'm going to run a marathon... not a good plan. So far today I'm only at about 11g of fiber and that's with a concentrated effort. I found a new product today that is pretty tasty to include in my fiber trail mix. It's Kashi Vive :) Enjoy!...
