Friday, Aug 27 2010 - I finally looked in the mirror and tried really hard to see this new me.
View WICOMICOWOMAN's food & exercise for this day
I have lost 34 lbs since end of March 2010.

I have 2 lbs to go to be just considered overweight and not obese as I have been for 30 years.

I'm almost to the end of Silver program. I've lowered medications.

I walk 2-3 miles 5 times a week. I started working with weights for upper body and I have donated half my closet to charity.

I have registered for my first 5K walk in mid-Sept.
But I still see the same person I was 6 months ago.
Although I don't blog, post or respond to threads very often, I want all the CK supports to know that I do check on everyone.

I have learned so much. I enter my diary every morning and that has been a life saver for me with this life change. The challenges that we do have been so helpful too.
Thanks to everyone who contributes with success stories, venting or just everyday thoughts.
Debbie.

Debbie, I am so happy for you! It is so cool to see you on our month challenge listing off loss every time you post! You have been doing so well and I am sure that you are feeling so good! I think if you were to measure or take pics you would see a difference. Congratulations to you and to your health!!

I agree with DMGRULKE. Pictures tell us more about ourselves. Start some self love
 You are doing awesome.

Great job staying active and getting off those meds! As for not seeing you as your new self, I suggest taking a new picture and comparing it to an old one. After 34 pounds I think you will see some differences!
