View XSMOKER's food & exercise for this day

A.M.
Yesterday was pretty cool. We made it to church and then my hubby took me and all the kids to the ship. The girls were so excited to finally get to see where daddy works. He took us up to the flight deck and we walked around. It was a little hard for me. This is an environment where I used to be comfortable and I still miss a little. The ships of that class are similar in many ways so I could still find my way around if I really had to. Funny how some things just come back to you. Eating wise, yesterday was not the greatest. We waited so long for lunch, kids got fed on time though, that I broke down and essentially had M&Ms for lunch. Rest of the day was okay though. I need to check and see if sex counts for calories. Last night was an awesome session and I wonder how many calories I burnt. Doesn't really matter though.

I did 3 miles on the TM today in 30:38 and my pace was 5.5, 6.0, and 6.5! I then worked on two different eliptical machines for 15 min a piece. A guy came over and complemented me on my stamina. I told him my goal was 3 miles on the TM and that I want to run a 5K in April. I burnt some serious calories this A.M. workout.

P.M.
I'm doing this a little early because I'm going to hopefully climb into bed before 9PM today. I am so tired and tomorrow is a pretty busy day. I need to get through this last hour w/o grazing. Having nothing to do tends to do me in. So I'm going to chew some gum, have my last cup of decaf coffee at 8 and then start getting everyone ready for bed. Need to write hubby an e-mail as well. He's had a long day at work and I don't get to see him until after work tomorrow. Bummer they are extending his departments working hours to get ready for an inspection coming up. That's the problem wth medical, there is always other work to be done and the patients like to show up when it's getting worked on. Oh well, it's the nature of the beast.
