Today is my volunteer day at school. Then dinner at a friends house. I'm bringing chili and cornbread. She's going to let go through some of her clothes that no longer fit her. Lucky for me! I was going to go to the gym today, but I don't know if I'll be able to make it. We'll have to see. I may just end up doing a taebo workout tonight. Again!

Well the dinner didn't happen as planned. Original plans fell through so I invited MIchelle and her family over for chili and cornbread muffins. It was pretty good, if I do say so myself. I ended up having 1 1/2 bowls chili and only one muffin. Can live with that! Did not do my workout today. The workout I did lastnight and then the standing this morning has really bothered my foot. I finally broke down and made an apt for tomorrow to get it looked at. I am hoping it is something that will be easily diagnosed and fixed. I do not think I'll be able to make the half-marathon for Mother's Day! I may be able to do the five mile run on the 20th. We'll see what they say tomorrow, I'm really worried I may have a stress fracture!
What I have found out is that I love running. I am really missing it and the way I feel when I am doing it! It has gone past the point of something I do to lose weight and meet a challenge goal to something I enjoy! At least I can say that is now truly a passion of mine. Hopefully my foot will be feeling better soon and I can get back on the road soon. Until then I will envy my neighbors who are beginning to take up running! They are so lucky the weather has been perfect for running!
