Today is my Dr apt. for my foot. Send good vibes my way, hopefully they will find what is wrong with it. Also, BBQ for dinner tonight. Yeah for me.

Bummer news from the doctor. I strained something in my foot and can't run for a couple of weeks. That means the half-marathon on Mother's Day is off! Bummer, bummer, bummer!:( I am also on a pretty strong NSAID now, when I picked up the script the pharmacy tech scared me by letting me know that this particular drug has caused ulcers before in people he has seen. Boy thanks, you make me feel better. But I am definitely going to work with the lowest dose possible and see what happens. Optimally the dr. wants me taking 2 pill 3x a day if my stomach will tolerate. I don't want to go that high unless I need to. if my foot doesn't feel better in about two weeks or so, I'm to get seen again so I can be referred for a bone scan. I'm healthy and have much to be thankful for, but I really am missing the running outside thingy.
