View XSMOKER's food & exercise for this day
Okay, this is not a pity party, but a reality check. I have got to get control of my munching. Some I'm recording and some I'm not. My thighs are feeling really big and this bothers me a lot. Also, I have a self-image problem. I have it at my current weight and I had it when I weighed 120lbs. So essentially, I need to learn to be happy with my body at whatever weight I am at. I don't subsribe to the kill yourself to lose weight mentality. If you are running thin on energy at all sides, you will eventually crash and burn. With a hubby that deploys and four kids relying on me I can't afford to crash and burn.
So what does this mean to me? It means I need to set realistic goals.
1. Some type of exercise every day. The optimal choice would be circuit in the AM and cardio in the PM, but at least one or the other every day. I would prefer cardio at least 4 days a week, but I understand that my body may need a rest day.
2. Good food choices. I need to think before I eat. So hard to do sometimes, especially when I'm doing homework. I kind of keep myself busy while doing homework with eating. Can't keep that up!
3. Love myself. I've got to love myself no matter my size. As my hubby points out, sexy isn't a state of being...it's a state of mind. He finds me sexy when I'm feeling sexy and I feel sexy when I'm wearing clothes that fit and complement me regardless of my size.
These are things I know and goals I need to aim for. I know this, I just need to implement it!

Thank You for your feedback. I've really got to budget for the evening snacking.

Congrats on your 5k
:) You've got some good ideas in mind. As far as #2, I find that if I actually record my snacks in my Ck software before I leave for work in the morning, it keeps me honest. So you might try to log part of your day, or at least your planned snacks, before you eat them and see if that helps keep your choices honest. I do remember sometimes that I would mindlessly snack when studying though, that's tough!
