This one was hard. I couldn't finish some of the exercises and wow did my heart rate hit the aerobic zone. I'm very happy with this workout and already feeling it in my arms.Thursday, June 14th 2007
So today I had my first run using a heart rate monitor. It was kind of weird to use it. I'm going to have to look up training with it. I set a zone and stayed w/in it for most of the run, but found that it actually slowed my pace. I'll play with it to figure out how to use it best for my workouts. I thought it would be uncomfortable, but it wasn't. It was actually very comfortable to use, but man was it sweaty when I finished my run.Wednesday, June 13th 2007
Ugh today has been a long day and it isn't even close to over yet. I've also been craving sweets, alot! It's getting a frustrating. I already caved and had some m&ms, hopefully that will be all. I did Get Ripped to the Core today. Wow, it tired me out. I really like these workouts and hope to see results.Sunday, June 10th 2007
Well...today I ran the North Olympic Discovery Half-Marathon. I came in somewhere around 2hr41min, but I'm not sure of the exact time. I have to wait for the results to be posted online. IT was raining and cold and my parents and kids were getting wet. I thought I stopped my stop watch as I crossed the finish line, but didn't so I had to subtract about 5 mins to get a good guess for my time.Friday, June 8th 2007
I got my run in this morning and it was great. I'm not fast, but I do get there and back. Sunday is the half-marathon and I'm excited and nervous already. I wish my husband was here with me. Eating has gone okay today. I always forget how good apples taste until I eat one. Then I end up wondering why I hadn't had one in such a long time. We are going to have Round Table Pizza for dinner tonight. A little treat for us since we won it at the ball game lastnight.
