P.M.
I got a new treadmill!! Yipee, we spent some money on it too, so hopefully it will last for a while. It has the function to enter the amonth of miles you want to run and then it counts it down for you. So I set it for 3.5 miles tonight and tomorrow I'm going to do a hill run on it. I can hook my mp3 player into it and the music plays through the speakers, so I can hear my music and foot falls at the same time...does that make sense?

Hubby and I had a heart to heart about how I've been feeling lately. I love my husband and he is so understanding. I am truly blessed. I want him to do so well in this school. I really hope we can get orders back to Washington when this is done.

I did 3.5 miles in 38:49 and 100 crunches and 20 push-ups.

A.M.
Today is not starting out so well. I'm in a cruddy mood and just want to go back to WA. Hubby is out getting something for his class. I think I'm a little jealous, how sad is that? My life was totally disrupted and so many things put on hold....okay I need to stop the pity party. I know his going through this school is the best thing for our family and will really help his career and he'll be so good at it, I just wish I could get established here. Anyways, plan for today is to work on homework and run. Looks like a treadmill kind of day, still lots of snow around.

Goals for Today:
1. Homework:y:
2. Run:y:
3. Laundry:y:

Laundry never seems to go away, ever!

Hi Jenna!

GOLLY, do I EVERY KNOW HOW YOU FEEL!!!! Long story short, my husband sometimes works VERY long hours. Due to a recent plant shutdown he worked 23+ days straight, 14-16 hours per day -- first day shifts and then nights!

He has these bouts of OT periodically throughout the year and sometimes I deal better than other times. This time I didn't deal so well and felt all the things you wrote about! I tried to keep busy, etc., but its tough!

Try to make some social contacts if you can. You apparently have little ones, which I don't so going to dinner with a friend was easier for me. I finally started a project and ultimately that was what pulled me out of my funk. I had been determined to make a scrapbook of a trip we took 1.5 years ago and "never seemed to find the time". I pulled the stuff out and started working on it and had so much fun with it that I forgot how lonely and miserable I was!

Keep you chin up!!! :smile1:
